About this policy
Course Notifier is an independent Appnomalous app by Ahmet Melih Afşar. This policy covers the app, notification service and website. Questions: appnomalous@gmail.com.
Your account and courses
We use your account ID, name, email, profile-image URL, device push token and its notification language, selected courses and notification history to provide sign-in and seat alerts. Notifications can be turned off in your device settings.
Weekly plans on your device
Plans in the mobile app are stored on your device, separated by account owner, university and term. The planner does not upload these drafts to a server or sync them across devices. Clearing the app’s device data also removes local drafts. Service data used for course watches and notifications is described separately above.
Campus balances
For Sabancı, optional MySU sign-in takes place on the university’s sign-in page. Your device retrieves balances directly from MySU. Appnomalous does not receive your university password or balances. If you choose “Remember this device”, the MySU session is saved in encrypted local storage. Disconnect in Settings to remove it.
Purchases
Google Play handles payments. RevenueCat uses account and purchase records to validate access and restore purchases. We do not receive full card details.
Service providers
We use Google/Firebase for accounts, stored app data and push notifications, RevenueCat for purchases, and Cloudflare for the website. Our server checks public course schedules from supported universities. Providers may process data outside your country. Connections use HTTPS and access to account data is restricted. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How long data is kept
We keep account, course, notification and support records while needed to provide the service and resolve requests. Deletion covers associated records. Providers may retain transaction records where required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
Delete your account or data
Email appnomalous@gmail.com from your account email with the subject “Course Notifier account deletion”. We verify ownership, delete the account and associated service-provider data, and confirm completion. You can also request deletion of specific data. The same request link is in the app’s Settings and sign-in screen; the app does not need to be installed. Manage or cancel Google Play subscriptions separately.

If you email us, we use your email address and message to respond and handle your request.
This website
The demo uses fictional data in browser memory. It does not create accounts, save selections, fetch live university data or request notification permission. It resets when the page is reloaded. The website code uses no cookies or local storage and has no advertising or analytics scripts. Download links may include a fixed source and page campaign label so Google Play can report aggregate referral performance. These labels contain no personal identifier; the site omits them when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled. Fonts and images are self-hosted. Hosting services may process IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site.
